Workington restrict ground for FA Trophy tie after storm damage

Workington will open only the Grandstand side of their ground for Tuesday night's FA Trophy tie against Clee Town after storm damage over the weekend, the club announced.

The Popular Side sustained what the club described as minor storm damage. Some repairs were carried out on Monday, but the further work required will not be finished before the game. The Fanzone and Marquee will be closed because of damage caused by the storm.

Food will be available from the usual outlets. Bar facilities will be limited to the Derwent Cabin and The Tom Mitchell Lounge.

Elsewhere, Whitby Town confirmed that winger Ben Creamer's dual-registration arrangement has switched from Northallerton Town to Bishop Auckland. The club said the 20-year-old will continue to be part of its plans while gaining further senior experience.

At Avro, Cam Firth made his first-team debut on his 17th birthday, as did Isaac Ehikhamhen, who is a couple of months older, the club said.
