Walton & Hersham hosted three residents of Walton Charity's sheltered accommodation at the Xcel Sports Hub on Saturday, as part of the club's Swans 11 initiative.
Gerald, Roscoe and Jane attended the National League South fixture against Torquay United, an invitation organised by the club's Community Engagement Officer, James Kemp. The trio were brought onto the pitch at half-time to warm applause from the home support. The club said it was Roscoe's first time watching a live football match in 20 years.
Residents now plan to set up their own Walton & Hersham supporters' club, with the Swans hoping to welcome the group back to the Xcel Sports Hub in the near future.
Swans 11 is the club's community outreach scheme, designed to build local ties and bring new groups into the ground.
