Walton & Hersham appoint Nobre as Slough Town re-sign Sundire and Folkestone Invicta add Lock

Walton & Hersham have appointed Diogo Nobre as first team lead coach, working on Ruben Gaspar's backroom staff.

The club said Nobre has experience in Portugal, Finland and England, including four seasons in Portugal's national leagues as U23 head coach at Casa Pia AC, working alongside Rúben Amorim. In Finland he guided Peimari United to a national-record four consecutive promotions, from the sixth tier to the second. In England he has worked at Wingate & Finchley, Enfield Town, Eastbourne Borough, Athletic Newham and, most recently, Cheshunt.

Slough Town have re-signed 29-year-old midfielder Munashe Sundire on a permanent deal following his release by Torquay United. Torquay said he left by mutual agreement to pursue an opportunity closer to home.

Sundire first joined Slough in June 2023 from St Albans City and made 32 appearances before leaving for Tamworth in February 2024. He made 43 appearances there, winning the National League North title, before joining Torquay in May 2025. Versatile enough to cover central midfield or full-back, his arrival adds experienced depth. The signing is subject to standard FA and National League clearances. Sundire said: "Super delighted to be a Rebel again! A club that holds a special place in my heart, buzzing to be a part of the club's exciting new chapter!"

Folkestone Invicta have signed 22-year-old winger Paris Lock as a free agent after he left Charlton Athletic in the summer. He has had loan spells at Chatham Town, Tonbridge Angels, Braintree Town and Carshalton Athletic, and made eight National League South appearances under Jay Saunders at Tonbridge in 2024. He will wear no. 21 and goes into tonight's squad for the match against Tonbridge Angels.

Folkestone midfielder Alejandro Machado has left by mutual consent after 15 appearances and two goals. Saunders said: "He wanted assurances on playing time that I'm unable to give any player. He has therefore requested to leave in search of regular starts."

Elsewhere, Braintree Town have signed Amine Sassi, who has been with the club since pre-season and plays in tonight's team, while Torquay United forward Isaac Westendorf has joined Oxford City on loan until January to regain match fitness.
