Southport's stadium suffered significant damage over the weekend after Storm Boelo, according to a club statement. The National League was advised that panels on the side of the main stand, advertising hoardings and a marquee had been affected, with the marquee ripped from its stand.
The league has postponed Southport's game against Macclesfield, scheduled for tomorrow. The club said the decision was made "in the interest of safety for all parties concerned", given the extent of the damage, the limited time available to carry out full repairs, and the forecast over the next 24 hours. No new date was given in the statement.
Buxton enter the FA Trophy at the second round stage, with the draw due today and ties to be played over the weekend of 14 November. The club said winners receive £3,750 and losers £1,000. JJ of Buxton and Campbell Darcy of Hebburn Town were both named in the Enterprise National League North team of the week.
