Redcar Town have signed defender Louie Hall.
The 23-year-old began his career with Stockton Town, making his first-team breakthrough in their 2021/22 promotion season and in the following season's play-off final defeat to Long Eaton.
Hall transferred to Boro Rangers in the summer of 2023, where they finished seventh in the league and reached the final of the North Riding Cup.
The club described him as "a forceful and aggressive defender who we are sure will become a fans favourite with his commitment and ability."
Ahead of the announcement, the club had teased the signing for 6pm, describing Hall as a "rock-solid former Ranger" they have admired for a long time and adding they were delighted to have "finally got our man".
At Crook Town, Joe Bates was voted the club's October Player of the Month. According to the club, he won comfortably after standout performances during the month, including a 40-yard strike in injury time in the victory over North Shields. Bates is sponsored by Paul Winter and Gibson's Surveying & Mapping.
