Molesey edge Maidenhead Town as Colliers Wood extend unbeaten run

Molesey edged Maidenhead Town 3-2 in Division 1 of the Combined Counties. The visitors called it "a disappointing loss away after making a horror start and then fashioning enough chances to at least get something out of the game". Liam O'Neil was Molesey's man of the match, chosen by the match sponsor, while Maidenhead named Will Donnelly theirs, praising his defending, aerial dominance and passing range. It came a week after Molesey lost 4-0 at Epsom & Ewell, and the fixture was framed by a busy matchday: live music followed the football, with Daniel Dubois against Fabio Wardley on the big screen afterwards. Molesey next travel to Spartans Youth on Tuesday 20 October, while Maidenhead go to Woodley United that night at the Rivermoor.

The longest run belongs to Colliers Wood United, who posted "8 unbeaten" after a 3-0 full-time win over Shepherd's Bush.

Wembley marked two personal milestones this week. Striker Sam Langan has 15 goals in 17 appearances, and Calvin Osborne reached 300 appearances for the club. The team won 4-2 in the Middlesex Cup second round tuesday-night tie, and Juan Quejada took player of the match when Spelthorne visited Vale Farm.

London Samurai Rovers won twice at home: 5-2 in the Middlesex competition, with goals from Baek, Nichols, Melanarkitis, Oda and Harvey, and 3-1 in the league through Suzuki (penalty), Jitsukawa and a 90+4 minute strike from Melanarkitis.

Elsewhere, Westside won 2-1 at Oxhey Jets, with an attendance of 62 recorded. Woodley United won 2-1 at Eagles Land, and FC Deportivo Galicia drew 2-2 with Eagles Land's rivals E_K_FC, Antonio and Mario scoring. Holmer Green drew 1-1 at Bovingdon, and PFC Victoria lost 5-2 at Camden United. Spartans Youth beat Winchmore Hill 4-0.

At Oxhey Jets, a tweet from the club said one player is chasing the club's all-time scoring record, held by Gary Page on 408 goals.
