Leatherhead and Cray Wanderers both earn FA Cup replays in Isthmian Premier

The week's shape was set by the FA Cup fourth qualifying round, where the Isthmian Premier sent Leatherhead, Cray Wanderers, Brentwood Town and Eastbourne Borough into ties against higher-ranked opposition. Two of them came out with replays.

At Fetcham Grove, Leatherhead drew 3-3 with Yeovil Town after trailing by two goals late on. The club described it as "what a shift from the lads" and confirmed the replay will be at Huish Park on Tuesday. The tie was an all-ticket occasion with a 2,000 capacity, cashless bars and a car park closing at 2pm. The week before, the Tanners had lost 1-2 at home to Cheshunt, conceding in the 95th minute, and their own match report wondered whether "the Yeovil effect" was already at work.

Cray Wanderers travelled to National League North side Bedford Town and came home with a 0-0 draw. The replay is at Flamingo Park on Tuesday at 7.45pm, and the club said Cray will at least be in the first-round draw for the first time. They had reached this stage by beating Lewes after a replay, then Maidstone United and Chippenham Town. Ade Yusuff, who scored in the 2-1 league defeat by Lewes on 10 October, had his tenth goal of the season that day.

Flamingo Park also staged a league fixture, as AFC Whyteleafe, who groundshare there, beat Dartford 2-1. Toby Aromolaran scored twice, the second from the penalty spot, and player-manager Ben Greenhalgh levelled for the visitors in between. Dartford also gave a debut to Matty MacArthur.

In the league, Burgess Hill Town beat Dulwich Hamlet 2-0 on Tuesday through Joel Daly and Ben Pope, then lost 4-2 at Welling United on Saturday. Dulwich Hamlet drew 2-2 with Carshalton Athletic at Champion Hill in front of what the club called its first sell-out crowd of the season. Three Bridges took a point from league leaders Enfield Town in a 3-3 draw, with Noel Leighton, Ade Adeyinka and Scott Malone scoring. On Tuesday Lewes had won 2-1 at Jubilee Field, and they drew 1-1 with Maldon & Tiptree on Saturday.

Aveley beat Chatham Town 1-0 at Parkside, the club picking out Francis Mampolo's winner as a goal-of-the-season contender. Elsewhere, Whitehawk announced that Jay Lovett had resigned as first-team manager, citing difficulty balancing the workload with his other coaching commitments. Rob Kember was appointed with Stuart Booth as his assistant.
