Hyde United have re-signed midfielder Callum Spooner, the first signing made by manager Nick Spooner since his return to the club.
Callum Spooner made 133 appearances over four seasons at Hyde, scoring five goals, and comes back after spells at Bury and Ashton United. He said: "It's good to be back, I'm here to help the team progress. I must say a big thank you to everyone at Ashton United, especially Steve Cunningham, who didn't stand in my way coming back here."
Ashton United had said they reluctantly agreed to terminate his contract to allow him to further his career elsewhere. They have since signed forward Billy Whaite on loan from Blackpool until January. Whaite has Northern Premier League experience from a loan at Bradford (Park Avenue) in the division below, and spent time on loan at Rylands this season.
Hyde also sent Yann Songo'o on a month's loan to Bradford (Park Avenue). Manager Nick Spooner said: "Yann is at the age where he wants to play, we can't guarantee him that currently so it's vital he gets games." Bamber Bridge themselves confirmed the departure of midfielder Archie Lang, who exercised a clause in his contract.
Whitby Town have re-signed defender Ben Beals from Spennymoor Town. He joined Middlesbrough's academy aged nine and had loan spells at Whitby and Marske United before moving permanently to Spennymoor in the summer of 2024. He earned a new contract there in August 2025.

At Stockton Town, forward Kian Foreman arrives on an initial three-month loan from Hartlepool United, and Irish goalkeeper Reuben Egan has signed on a permanent basis.
Emley said Joe Stacey has left after they were unable to match an offer from another Northern Premier League club. He made 64 appearances after joining in the summer of 2025 and was Supporters' Player of the Year in May.
Ilkeston Town signed full-back Jaiden Owen from Quorn. He came through the Norwich City academy, signed a first professional contract aged 17 and has represented Wales at Under-16 and Under-17 level. Terry Hawkridge left the club by mutual consent.
Elsewhere, Avro announced Jack Kenny is rejoining for the remainder of the 2026-27 season, while Cleethorpes Town signed a winger on loan from Rovers.
