Holleran takes interim charge at Halesowen Town as Worcester City sign Wollacott

Paul Holleran has taken charge of Halesowen Town as interim manager following Russ Penn's departure.

Holleran's first game in the dugout was an FA Trophy tie at Evesham United, which Halesowen Town won 4-0 to reach the Second Round. According to the club's match report, it was the first time Holleran had been in the Yeltz hotseat since November 2006.

Worcester City have signed central defender Ryan Wollacott following his departure from Halesowen Town earlier last week. The 31-year-old previously featured for Stourport Swifts and Redditch United. He trained with Worcester City this weekend and is available for their trip to Banbury on Tuesday evening.

Havant & Waterlooville have confirmed the departure of winger Faris Khallouqi, who joined in the summer and made eight appearances after debuting in the season opener against Berkhamsted. In a wider summary of recent changes, the club said Paul McCallum left by mutual consent on 7 October after 11 appearances and has since joined Eastbourne Borough. Imran Uche left by mutual consent on 23 October, having featured 11 times since signing in May. Brad Tarbuck returned to the club on 10 October.

Meanwhile, Stratford Town forward Owen James has left the club. James, who debuted in 2018, scored 24 goals across 133 appearances and took home the club's Golden Boot last season.
