Histon have signed midfielder Sam Bayly from Stamford.
The 24-year-old was at Peterborough Sports last season, according to the club, and spent a couple of years in the United States before that. Histon welcomed him to Bridge Road on Saturday.
Knowle announced the death of their men's first team match secretary, Jimmy Merry.
The club described him as "a familiar and respected figure within grassroots and non-league football for many, many years", known to countless players, managers, officials and volunteers across the local football community.
Knowle said he was "much more than a match secretary", a trusted colleague and valued friend, and that much of his work was done behind the scenes. The club offered its condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.
