Handsworth sign Jake from Worsbrough Bridge as Thackley Association add Eriamiator

Handsworth have signed forward Jake from fellow Premier Division side Worsbrough Bridge.

The 28-year-old played for the club's youth sides and has been a regular presence around the club over the years, according to the club. Handsworth said they helped his recovery from a serious injury. The club thanked Worsbrough Bridge for a smooth and quick transfer, and said Jake would be available for selection for the home game against Penistone Church.

Thackley Association have officially welcomed central defender Samu Eriamiator from Golcar United. The club said he signed last week and made his debut against Pickering Town.

At Retford United, physio Michaela is stepping aside, with Ellie taking the lead physio position. The club said Michaela had always planned for the day to come once Ellie felt confident to take the lead, and thanked her for her time, care and support on and off the pitch.

In club news, Mitchell Dunne scored from the penalty spot for Handsworth, the 100th goal of his time with the club. Retford said a win takes them into the FA Vase third round for the first time in the club's history.
