Foley Meir open clubhouse to away fans as Barnton and New Mills name October award winners

Foley Meir announced that the club will open its clubhouse to away supporters for selected Stoke City home games, on days when Foley Meir are either at home or have no fixture. The club said it can accommodate up to 250 supporters, weather permitting, and cited a turnout from Swansea fans earlier this season.

Promising "proper non-league hospitality", Foley Meir will have pre-match beers and a food van on site, with supporters from QPR, Wrexham, Derby County, Bolton Wanderers, West Ham, Burnley and Lincoln City expected through the doors.

Among the player awards, Barnton named Harry Watson their October Player of the Month. The club praised him as solid at the back and pointed to a Macron Cup goal, a league penalty and a man of the match award during the month.

At New Mills, the October award went to number 9 Will, known as "Big Will", after what the club called an outstanding run of seven goals in seven games last month.
