Hedge End Rangers described their 5-1 win over Totton & Eling as a historic night, coming from behind in front of an attendance of 241, and will host Devizes Town in the next round. Hamworthy United needed penalties again to survive their trip to Ringwood, winning the shootout to book a tie at Highworth Town, while Cove will welcome Tooting & Mitcham United to Oak Farm Stadium. New Milton Town also went through, beating Baffins Milton Rovers 4-3 on penalties after Lloyd Thomas saved twice in the shootout, and have been paired with Brockenhurst at the GD Print Stadium.

Remove this sentence, as Brockenhurst progressed from their tie against Frimley Green to face New Milton Town. Romsey Town beat Bournemouth Poppies 2-1 to reach the third round, while Totton & Eling and Fawley both exited, the latter falling 2-1 to Ash United after a red card turned the game. Sandhurst Town also fell, beaten by Carterton. In Division One, Ringwood Town ended New Milton Town's unbeaten start with a 2-1 New Forest derby win behind two goals from Ollie Brown. New Milton bounced back with a 1-0 win over Sandhurst Town, Luca Lane's early header enough to keep them top, in front of an attendance the club said was the fifth highest across Step 6 this season.

Sandhurst Town, who fielded four new signings that day including Reece Anderson, Archie Sheppard, Harrison Bayley and Sam Green, suffered their first away defeat of the campaign. Blandford United continued to strengthen too, adding Milo Turner from Holt United and Lee Brad Haensel from Downton, with Turner earning man of the match in a 7-1 win at Lymington Town. Lymington Town suffered another heavy defeat soon after, beaten 5-0 at home by Romsey Town.
