FA Cup replays settle first-round places as Worcester City edge Chorley

The FA Cup first-round draw took further shape as the fourth qualifying round replays got under way. Worcester City beat Chorley 1-0 at Sixways in their replay, Luke Rowe scoring in the 89th minute. The original tie had finished level after Josh Ezewele's late equaliser, with Chorley having led through Mike Calveley. Worcester will travel to League Two side Colchester United on the weekend of 7 November.

Macclesfield beat Anstey Nomads 3-0 to reach the first round proper, where Mansfield Town await. The defeat brought an end to Anstey Nomads' cup run, with the visitors wishing Macclesfield well in the next round. Cray Wanderers reached the first round for the first time in their history after their tie with Bedford Town finished 2-2 following extra time and was decided on penalties. Harborough Town are at Leyton Orient on Saturday 7 November (3.00pm), and Wimborne Town host Crawley Town at the Wyatt Homes Stadium.

There were exits too. Chesham United lost 5-0 at Forest Green, Leatherhead went out after a 5-2 defeat to Yeovil Town, and Tadley Calleva fell to Aldershot Town. Gloucester City also saw their FA Cup campaign come to an end. The replays caused knock-on postponements: Quorn's game with Bury, Stourbridge's with The Nomads FC and Warrington Town's Cheshire Senior Cup tie at Altrincham were all called off.
