Evesham United lose McConnell as Basingstoke Town report Manocchio ACL injury and Bromsgrove Sporting extend run

Josh McConnell has left the first team at Evesham United, with the club saying he decided to go and play regularly elsewhere. Evesham United thanked him for his efforts this season and wished him all the best for the future.

At Basingstoke Town, a scan has revealed that Anto Manocchio has torn his ACL. The club described it as another blow for the squad, praised the young player's attitude and said it had no doubt he would return at his best when it is safe to do so.

Basingstoke Town also confirmed that Aleks Kokoszka is out of surgery. The club reported that the operation was a success and went smoothly, with Kokoszka now beginning his rehabilitation.

Bromsgrove Sporting are on an 11-game unbeaten league run, the club's longest since the 2019/20 season. The club said the last season in which they had 30 points by Halloween was 2017/18. Following Jake Jervis's four-goal haul, Sporting noted that the last player to manage the feat was Mikey Taylor against AFC Rushden & Diamonds in October 2019.

The Bromsgrove Sporting board will donate £1 to the Royal British Legion for every supporter attending Saturday's home game against Leiston.
