Cup fixtures dominated the local schedule. Andover New Street spent it building towards their FA Vase trip to Petersfield Town, promoting the tie across their channels ahead of the Saturday 12 September kick-off at the Smartspaces Stadium, while Petersfield Town themselves previewed the visit as their attention turned from a Hampshire Senior Cup defeat, in which Freddie Beeson was named Player of the Match against his former club Gosport Borough.

Also in the Vase, Baffins Milton Rovers announced a return to PMC against New Milton Town, while Fleetlands confirmed a trip to face East Cowes Victoria Athletic at the J.A Dempsey Community Stadium. Cowes Sports spoke of hoping to repeat the previous weekend's cup form as they looked to advance further, while also noting a Hampshire Cup exit having lost 6-2 at Andover New Street in midweek.

In the league, Christchurch continued a difficult spell, sitting in the relegation zone without a league win in August, though manager Brad Gale pointed to team spirit as the season's turning point. Addwell Chipangura's goal tally, now at 29 for the club, provided some encouragement. The club drew 1-1 with Sherborne Town at Avon Causeway, with James Storey scoring for Christchurch and Jordan Matthews scoring for the Zebras.

Bashley made the trip to league leaders Fareham Town, having beaten Bemerton Heath Harlequins 4-2 at home the previous weekend and welcomed Aidy Silverstein on a dual registration from Weymouth. Fareham Town themselves confirmed the signing of Connor Duffin.

At Laverstock & Ford, a 5-1 derby win over Bemerton Heath Harlequins was followed by the departure of long-serving forward Whacky Van Basten, who dual-signed with Salisbury FC 1888 after 244 appearances and 42 goals for the Bulldogs. Bemerton Heath Harlequins acknowledged the defeat with an apology to their supporters before turning attention to a home game against Hamworthy Recreation.

At Downton, Ronan Moore rejoined the club after a brief spell away, while Hamworthy Recreation paused for a minute's silence in memory of Stephen 'Sharks' Sharkey before returning to winning ways at home. Sturminster Newton United continued ground improvement work required for their new Step 5 status, including new perimeter fencing around the We Heat South Stadium.
