Retford United have promoted assistant Jas Colliver to the managerial role following the departure of Ryan Hindley.
Hindley left for Ilkeston Town at the start of October, according to a preview published by Rossington Main ahead of Saturday's meeting between the sides. The preview described him as popular and said he had led the Badgers to back-to-back promotions before their first season in the NCEL Premier Division.
Colliver's first two games in charge were cup defeats against Northwich Victoria and Bottesford. He then picked up his first win at the weekend, a 3-2 victory over Worsbrough Bridge in which United held on after scoring three second-half goals at Park Road Stadium.
Retford United have lost once in 11 league matches and have conceded 19 goals, the fifth-best defensive record in the division. They occupy the final play-off spot, five points ahead of Rossington Main, whom they host on Saturday.
