Bridgwater United have appointed Steve Redman as vice-chairman.
Redman, who described himself as a local lad, has supported Bridgwater for more than 50 years since serving as a ball boy in the Castlefields days.
Redman has been working with the team since pre-season, supporting Owen on the medical side.
He told the club: "I've seen first hand what a great job Dave P and Dave T have been doing in building a resilient team and playing some great football."
"Going forward I hope to help bring more people back to supporting the club and put the club back in the heart of the community. I welcome any thoughts, please feel free to contact me on vcbridgwaterunited@gmail.com."
